It's 17 years to the day since Sourav Ganguly reached a debut century at Lord's. It was the day which changed the history of Indian cricket. The day which saw the phoenix rising. 

Hats off to this man. Thanks Sourav for everything you have done. What u have contributed to Indian cricket is incredible.. You made us proud Dada ! Long live !!

DADA FOREVER

He is the best ODI batsman now.... He has lead India to hieghts including 2 WC truimphs... he keeps his nerve whenever required.... being one of the most aggressive batsman, he can change his game according to any situations..... you know whom I am talking about.... MSD...

Still,... One more test win will no way take him above the one ,who not only played stylish cricket but also had the ability to make any player in team play.... who created a belief not just in the 11 players but also in a whole nation that they can win anywhere in the world..... that noone can dominate them....that they can domnate anyone.... that courage he imparted then is the reason why players now dare to question, to dominate the foriegners in the field.... he may not have a double century as a captain, but a mere 144... but it was not in Chennai or Ranchi..... It was in Brisbane when everyone else were literally killed by pace.... He may not have a world cup in his credit..... but the world cup he played was not in Mumbai but in the bouncy South Africa, when his comparitivly new team was written off by even the natives when they lost the first match.... but they never tasted defeat in those killer wickets, unfortunately until the final.... He never had a well built team full of legends to start with, he got a team who lost its dignity when it it lost its star players for matchfixing...... He built a new generation, even when supporting his generation who were turning legendary..... He never had to retain any Rohit Sharma ,Jadeja or Yousuf pathan till they play well.... He kept confidence in Viru, Bhaji and Yuvi who later became legends of the game.... Wonder how Dhoni got into the team with so less domestic experience....? It was none other than Dada who spotted and backed him... that's his talent in exploring talent..... that's how he can contribute..... Thats Dadagiri..... Dadagiri is beyond numbers, beyond records.... Its eternal.... Its divine.... nothing can decrease its glory.....
